As the daughter of a royal physician, Radha has always taken a keen interest in the decoctions and pastes that her father prepares for the queen and the princesses. Nothing, however, fascinates her more than the process of extracting honey from the hives of wild bees deep in the recesses of the jungle. Her father explains that the nutrition of the wild honey enhances the potency of the antiseptic properties of turmeric, turning the face mask into a protector for the skin, that goes right down to its innermost layers to cleanse it of impurities, repair and reverse pore-level damage, and imbue it with an everlasting glow.
Radha has preserved her father’s notes and recipes in the pages of the vaidyashastram, which is also Old School’s bank of knowledge on all questions about healing and rejuvenation.
